SintLucas asked us to create a national awareness campaign for Stichting Jarige Job. The main goal was not to directly ask for donations, but to share their story in a meaningful and engaging way with the Dutch public. They wanted advice on how to best tell their story, which media channels to use, and expected us to develop and deliver the final campaign materials

Stichting Jarige Job is a Dutch charity that helps children living in poverty celebrate their birthdays by providing birthday boxes filled with decorations, treats, and gifts—ensuring every child feels special on their big day.
For my project, I visited a classroom with children aged 4 to 9 and asked them two questions: What would your dream birthday look like? And what would your nightmare birthday look like? Their drawings captured both their wishes and fears, and I used their illustrations as the heart and visual language of my campaign, turning their imaginations into a powerful storytelling tool.
